And then, sometimes I also listen to….
There is something about country music. It’s addictive, specially when you are couple of drinks down. Even if you are not, you still sing along. It grows on you. Be it the legendary Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson or relatively less known but superbly talented Iris DeMent. Country music has that raw feel to it, that makes one nostalgic, makes one feel more and more connected to it.
I got hooked to country music a few years back, listening to my brother playing Johnny Cash again and again one night. The love for country music is perhaps the only thing we have in common. Following are some of the artists (tracks) I love listening to (in no particular order):
